Our Story
Born during the pandemic, built for the future
Wemu was founded during the pandemic, when small businesses everywhere were struggling to survive. Our founder, Jeph Fernandez, saw firsthand how business owners were forced to juggle five, ten, sometimes fifteen different apps just to keep their doors open — one for scheduling, another for invoicing, a spreadsheet for tracking commissions, yet another for team management.
Based in New York, Jeph set out to build something different. Not another point solution that solves one problem and creates three more — but a single platform that brings everything together. Products, services, bookings, team management, invoicing, expenses, reports — all in one place, designed to be simple enough that any business owner can pick it up and start running.
What started as a tool built out of necessity has grown into a platform trusted by businesses across industries — salons, gyms, restaurants, retail stores, consultants, and more. Every feature in Wemu exists because a real business owner needed it.
