What's inside

  • ✓Employees sheet: monthly basic, start and end dates, daily and hourly rates worked out
  • ✓Payroll log: overtime, night differential, holiday pay, gross and net pay
  • ✓SSS, PhilHealth and Pag-IBIG employee shares estimated from editable rates, with official sources noted
  • ✓13th Month sheet: basic salary earned in the year from the payroll log, divided by 12, with a quick prorated estimate
  • ✓Instructions sheet covering what counts as basic salary, the December 24 deadline and the ₱90,000 tax-exempt cap

How to use it

  1. Check the Rates sheet against the current SSS, PhilHealth and Pag-IBIG tables and your own working-day factor.
  2. List your employees on the Employees sheet.
  3. Add one Payroll row per employee per pay run (use 0.5 for each half of a semi-monthly payroll).
  4. In December, set the year on the 13th Month sheet and pay each amount on or before December 24.

Frequently asked questions

How does the template compute 13th month pay?

It adds up each employee's basic salary earned in the calendar year from the Payroll sheet, with unpaid absences taken out and overtime, night differential and holiday pay left out, then divides by 12, as PD 851 requires.

Are the SSS, PhilHealth and Pag-IBIG rates up to date?

They were checked on 3 November 2026 against the published schedules (SSS from January 2025, PhilHealth Advisory 2025-0002, HDMF Circular 460). Rates are editable cells, so confirm them against the official tables before each payroll and update if they change. Withholding tax is an input: use the BIR table.

Is this payroll or tax advice?

No. It's a planning tool. Check DOLE, BIR and the agencies' own tables, or ask your accountant, for your exact obligations.
