Picking a storefront template

5 templates, one for every kind of business — how to choose

The five templates

### Classic (default, free tier)

Your products and services in a clean vertical list. Works for anything. This is the template everyone starts on.

### Boutique (retail)

Pinterest-style gallery of large product images. Hero cover at the top. Best for clothing, accessories, home goods, plants, any business where the visuals sell the product.

### Studio (salon / spa / wellness)

Staff-forward layout with big team photos, a prominent services section, and an elegant serif body font. Best for salons, barbershops, nail studios, wellness practitioners, tattoo shops.

### Menu (restaurant / café)

Menu-card style product layout with food-photography hero. Category navigation at the top. Best for cafés, restaurants, food trucks, bakeries, anywhere customers scan a menu before ordering.

### Minimal (service professionals)

Text-heavy, generous whitespace, no hero image. Best for consultants, coaches, freelance designers, lawyers, accountants — businesses where the content matters more than the visuals.

Switching templates

📍

Navigate to: Settings → Storefront → DesignTemplate

  1. Tap any template card to preview
  2. Preview opens in a new tab with live brand colours
  3. When you're happy, tap Save — the public page updates within 30 seconds

Switching templates is non-destructive. Your hero image, about text, brand colours, and products all stay intact. Only the layout changes.

Preview before committing

The Preview button next to each template opens `/p/yourslug?preview=templatename` in a new tab. This URL shows your page styled with the chosen template but doesn't change what public visitors see. Share the preview link with a designer or business partner for feedback before you switch.

Template + branding

Templates define layout. Branding (colours, fonts, hero) applies to whichever template you pick. So a Minimal template with bright-pink primary colour looks very different from a Minimal template in dark navy.

Which should I pick?

| Business type | Recommended template |

|---------------|---------------------|

| Coffee shop | Menu |

| Restaurant | Menu |

| Bakery | Menu or Boutique |

| Clothing boutique | Boutique |

| Plant shop | Boutique |

| Hair salon | Studio |

| Nail studio | Studio |

| Barbershop | Studio |

| Gym | Studio or Classic |

| Yoga studio | Studio |

| Coach / consultant | Minimal |

| Designer / freelancer | Minimal |

| Law / accounting | Minimal |

When in doubt, Classic is safe for anything — it's the one we test most.
