The revenue your sales report can't explain
Vouchers, memberships and credit packs behave differently from products: the money arrives before the service does. That's why they get their own card.
Navigate to: Reports โ Overview โ Memberships, Vouchers & Credit Packs
The card covers your whole business, whichever location is selected, because these are held by the customer rather than sold at a location.
Vouchers
- Sold this period and Redeemed this period: cash in against value used
- Outstanding (liability): the balance left on active vouchers. This is money you still owe in services, and your accountant will ask for exactly this number.
- Expired unredeemed: value on vouchers that expired during the period without being used
Memberships
- Active now
- Monthly recurring and Weekly recurring: the total price of active memberships billed each month or each week
- Started this period and Cancelled this period
Credit packs
Sold this period, Customers with credits, and Units still owed. Like vouchers, unused credits are a liability until they're used.
Tip: Run it at month end alongside the GST / Tax Summary card on the same tab. Together they're most of what your accountant needs from you.
