Treatment cost & profit per service

Product cost + labour + card fees = what a treatment really makes

Revenue isn't profit

A $145 facial that uses $18 of product, $38 of staff time and $2.50 of card fees makes $86.50 โ€” and a cheaper treatment might quietly out-earn it. The Treatment cost card on every service page does this maths for you.

Setting it up

Open a service and find the Treatment cost card:

  1. Link the products a treatment uses โ€” 3ml of cleanser, one needle cartridge, a sheet mask. Costs come from your product catalog (professional/back-bar stock included), and pack sizes are respected: a 5L drum costed once prices every millilitre.
  2. Add your labour estimate โ€” what the staff time for one treatment costs you. Wemu suggests a figure from the assigned providers' hourly pay ร— the service's active minutes (processing time excluded) โ€” one tap fills it in.
  3. Set your card fee % once โ€” it applies across every service.

The card shows product cost, labour, payment fee, total cost to perform, and profit per treatment โ€” live, as you type.

It's not just a display

  • Completing a sale of the service deducts the linked products from stock automatically โ€” your back-bar consumption tracks itself.
  • Reports use the full cost: the top/bottom margin lists price services by product + labour + fees, so "most profitable" means actually most profitable.
