Setting up group classes

Create yoga classes, workshops, and group sessions

What are group classes

Group classes let multiple customers book the same time slot with one provider. Perfect for yoga classes, cooking workshops, group fitness sessions, art classes, or any activity where several people participate together.

📍

Navigate to: Sidebar → Services → + Add Service → Group type

Creating a group class

  1. Go to Services and tap + Add Service
  2. Enter the class name (e.g., "Morning Yoga", "Beginner Pottery")
  3. Set the duration of the class
  4. Set the price per participant
  5. Choose Group as the service type
  6. Set the maximum capacity — the most participants allowed per session
  7. Optionally set a minimum capacity if you need a certain number to run the class
  8. Assign the provider (instructor)
  9. Save the service

Setting capacity limits

The maximum capacity ensures you never overbook. Once all spots are filled, the class shows as full on your booking page. Setting a minimum capacity helps you decide whether to run a class or cancel it if not enough people sign up.

Scheduling recurring classes

Most group classes run on a regular schedule. After creating the service:

  1. Go to the Schedule tab
  2. Add recurring time slots (e.g., every Monday at 9am, every Wednesday at 6pm)
  3. Each time slot uses the duration and capacity you already configured

How customers book

Customers visiting your booking page see available class times with remaining spots. They pick a session and complete the booking. As spots fill up, the availability count updates in real time.

Managing participants

From the booking detail view, you can see everyone signed up for a class. On the day of the class, use the Check-in feature to mark who showed up.

Tip: If a class consistently fills up fast, consider adding a second session at a nearby time. If a class rarely hits half capacity, think about adjusting the schedule or merging it with another session.

Cancellation policies

You can configure whether participants can cancel their booking and how far in advance they need to do so. This protects you from last-minute no-shows.
