What it does
Connecting a Shopify store lets you, whenever you press the button:
- Send products to Shopify: your active physical products (not services, credit packs or subscriptions) go to your Shopify store with their name, description, price, SKU, brand and photos. A product that's already been sent is updated rather than added twice. Up to 250 products go each time, newest first.
- Import Shopify orders: orders from your Shopify store come into Wemu's Online Orders, numbered SH- and the Shopify order number, with the customer's name, email, phone, address, items and total. The first import goes back 30 days, and each one after picks up where the last left off, up to 50 orders at a time. Orders already imported are skipped.
Connecting

Navigate to: Settings → Integrations → Shopify
- Enter your store's address, such as mystore.myshopify.com
- Press Connect to Shopify
- Shopify asks you to approve access to your products, orders and inventory
- You come back to Wemu, connected
Syncing
Under Manual Sync, press Sync Products Now or Pull Orders Now. Wemu shows how many products were created or updated, or how many orders were imported or skipped, and when each last ran.
Not available yet
These are coming soon:
- Automatic syncing. Nothing runs until you press a sync button, whatever the Sync Settings switches show.
- Bringing your Shopify products into Wemu
- Keeping stock levels the same in both places
- Product variants. Each Wemu product goes to Shopify as a single item.
- Matching Shopify collections to Wemu categories
Imported Shopify orders don't change your Wemu stock and aren't paid through Wemu.
Disconnecting
Press Disconnect on the Shopify page. Products already in Shopify stay there, and imported orders stay in Wemu.
