Sending campaigns
Navigate to: Sidebar โ Campaigns
The Marketing page has two tabs:
- Campaigns: Automated Campaigns that run by themselves (Welcome Series, Win-Back, Rebooking, Post Visit, Birthday, No-Show and Custom), and Custom Campaigns you write and send once. Press Create Campaign to start one.
- Email automations: set-and-forget emails such as review requests and abandoned-cart reminders
Campaigns go by email and, for customers who've agreed to texts, by SMS. Texts use SMS credits. See Marketing consent, unsubscribes and quiet hours.
The weekly email allowance
Every account can send 500 marketing emails a week, on every plan. The count resets every Monday at 00:00 UTC, and unused emails don't carry over.
The box at the top right of the Marketing page shows how many are left this week. It turns amber when you're running low and red when none are left, with an Add credits link.
New accounts: for the first 7 days, the allowance is 100 emails a week and credits can't be used yet. This protects every business on Wemu from spammers who sign up to send in bulk.
What counts
- Counts: campaign emails, repurchase reminders, and reminders you set for customers by email
- Doesn't count: booking confirmations and reminders, receipts, invoices, quotes, and back-in-stock alerts a customer asked for
Credits for bigger sends
Credit packs cover sends over your weekly 500: 5,000 emails for $9 or 20,000 for $32. Credits never expire and are only used once the weekly 500 has run out.
Buy them at: Settings โ Subscription โ Add-ons โ Email Credits
Replies and unsubscribes
Campaign emails come from Wemu's sending address with your business name on them. When a customer replies, it goes to the email address in Settings โ Business Profile, so check it's one you read. Replies don't appear in Messages.
Every marketing email has an unsubscribe link, and customers who unsubscribe or said no to marketing emails are left out automatically.
Why there's a limit
The limit keeps Wemu's sending reputation clean. That's what gets your booking confirmations and campaigns into inboxes instead of spam folders.
Tip: Before a big send, check the allowance box. If the campaign is bigger than what's left, top up first so it isn't cut short.
