How routing works
Set up the stations you actually run, tag each product category with the station its items are prepared at, then give each station a kitchen display, or a printer if it's one of the five built-in stations. A ticket with a burger and a margarita splits on its own: the food goes to the kitchen and the drink to the bar.
Your stations
Navigate to: Settings โ Kitchen routing
You start with Kitchen, Bar, Coffee, Dessert and Grill. Press Add station to add your own with a name and an icon, such as ๐ Wok line. You can rename a station without losing its routing.
Routing categories
Under Where each category prints, choose a station for each category, or None (retail / no prep) for items nobody needs to prepare.
If a product is in two categories routed to different stations, it goes to only one of them (the one whose original name comes first alphabetically). Keep each product's categories on the same station to avoid surprises.
Kitchen displays
In Settings โ Devices, edit a kitchen display and choose its Station. It then shows only the items routed there. A display left on All stations (expo) shows everything.
Printers
In Wemu POS's printer settings, add a printer and pick its Printer Type: Kitchen, Bar, Coffee, Dessert or Grill for a prep printer, or Receipt for the printer at the counter. To change it later, tap the printer's station and choose under Send to which station? Stations you added yourself can't have a printer yet.
Removing a station
Its categories go back to unrouted, its displays go back to All stations (expo), and those items stop printing to a kitchen printer until you route them again. Wemu tells you how many categories and displays are affected before you confirm.
