Turn on shipping
Navigate to: Settings โ Storefront โ Shop
Choose how customers get their orders: Pickup in store, Local delivery, Shipping, or a mix. For shipping, add Shipping zones. Each zone has:
- A name, such as Australia-wide
- The countries it covers (or Any country (rest of world)), and regions if you need them
- A rate, an optional amount above which shipping is free, and an estimated delivery time
Checkout uses the first zone that matches the customer's address, so put specific zones above a catch-all.
Products
Each physical product has a Shipping card with Requires shipping (yes by default) and Weight (g). Choose No for digital or in-store-only items. Live carrier rates need the weight.
At checkout
Customers enter their address, and the shipping fee is worked out from your zones, or from live carrier rates if you use Shippo.
Marking an order shipped
Open the order and press Mark shipped. Choose the carrier and enter the tracking number. For Australia Post, DHL, FedEx, UPS, J&T Express, Ninja Van and LBC Express, Wemu builds the tracking link for you; for other carriers, paste the tracking link yourself.
The customer gets an email with the details and a link to their order's status page, where they can follow it.
Shippo: live rates, labels and tracking
Navigate to: Settings โ Integrations โ Shippo
Connect your own Shippo account by pasting its API token. Then set your ship-from address and default parcel size, choose whether to Show live carrier rates at checkout, and add a handling fee if you like.
With Shippo connected, Mark shipped โ Buy label buys the label from the chosen carrier. For labels bought through Wemu, tracking updates come back from Shippo automatically, and delivered orders close themselves. While you're connected with a Shippo test token, labels are samples.
