For the period you pick, the card rolls your completed sales up by category: Units, Revenue, Profit and Margin for each one. It follows the location switcher at the top of the app.

How profit is worked out

Profit uses the cost prices on your products, and for services the treatment cost (products used plus labour), so "Advanced skin treatments" against "Waxing" is a real comparison, not just a revenue one.

A dash (โ€”) means no item in that category has a cost yet. Once any item in a category has a cost, items without one count as costing nothing, so a partly costed category shows a higher margin than it really earns. Set a cost on every item for a true figure.

Which category a sale counts under

A product in more than one category counts once, under the category whose name comes first alphabetically, so the rows add up to your real sales. Items with no category show as Uncategorised, which is a nudge to tidy the catalog.

Tip: Pair it with Treatment cost & profit per service. The more services have real costs, the more honest this table gets.
