Configure operating hours per branch

Why location-specific schedules matter

Different locations often have different operating hours. Your downtown branch might open early for commuters, while your mall location follows the mall's hours. Wemu lets you configure independent schedules for each branch.

Navigate to: Settings → Branches → Select Branch → Hours tab

Setting hours per location

  1. Go to Settings > Locations
  2. Select the location you want to configure
  3. Open the Hours tab
  4. For each day of the week:

- Toggle the day on (open) or off (closed)

- Set the opening and closing times

- Add break periods if needed

Handling holidays and closures

When a location needs to close for a holiday or special event:

  1. Open the location settings
  2. Go to the Special Hours section
  3. Tap + Add Exception
  4. Select the date
  5. Either mark it as Closed or set modified hours
  6. Save

Special hours override the regular schedule for that specific date.

Impact on bookings

Location hours directly affect booking availability. Customers can only book during a location's operating hours. If Downtown closes at 6pm, no one can book a 6:30pm appointment there.

Make sure your operating hours accurately reflect when services are actually available, including any setup or teardown time.

Team availability vs. location hours

Keep in mind that team members have their own schedules too. A location might be open until 8pm, but if no provider works past 6pm, bookings won't be available after 6pm at that location. Both the location hours and provider availability must overlap for a time slot to appear.

Tip: Review location hours seasonally. Many businesses adjust their hours for summer, winter, or holidays. Update the schedule in Wemu ahead of time so your booking page reflects the changes accurately.

Timezone considerations

If your locations span different time zones, Wemu handles each location's schedule in its local time zone. Customers always see times in their own timezone when booking.
