Improving your SEO

To get the most out of search:

  1. Write a clear business description — Include keywords customers might search for (e.g., "haircuts", "yoga classes", "pet grooming" and your city name)
  2. Complete your address — Local SEO depends on accurate location data
  3. Set your business categories — Help search engines understand what you do
  4. Keep your profile active — Fresh content and regular activity signal relevance

Social media sharing

When you share your profile link on Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, or WhatsApp, a preview card appears with:

  • Your business name
  • Your business description
  • Your logo or cover photo

This is powered by Open Graph tags that Wemu generates automatically.

Sharing your profile

Share your profile by:

  • Copying the URL (wemu.io/your-business) and posting it
  • Using the Share button on your profile settings page
  • Adding the link to your website, email signature, or social media bio
  • Printing the link on business cards or flyers

Tip: Add your Wemu profile link everywhere: your Instagram bio, Google Business Profile, Facebook page, email signature, and website. Every link pointing to your profile helps with discoverability and gives customers a direct way to book.

Consider linking your Wemu profile from your Google Business Profile. When someone finds you on Google Maps, they can click straight through to book a service or shop your products.
