What the Team app is
Wemu Team is a free companion app for your staff — separate from Wemu POS. Where the POS runs your counter, the Team app puts each person's schedule, shifts, tasks, and chat on their own phone. It runs on iPhone, iPad, and Android.

Wemu POS vs Wemu Team — two apps for two jobs. Front-of-house staff ringing sales use Wemu POS; *everyone* uses Wemu Team for their schedule, tasks, and chat.
Signing in
Team members sign in with their own email and password — the account created when you [added them to your team](/help/adding-team-members). No separate invite is needed; the same login works on the app and the web.
- The app stays signed in, so staff don't re-enter their password every shift
- First launch asks for notification permission — allow it so shift and swap alerts come through
Clock in and out
The home screen shows today's shift and a Who's working now list of teammates currently on the clock.
- Tap Clock in to start your shift — your status updates instantly for the whole team
- Tap Clock out at the end; the app tallies your hours for the day
- Your clock state survives closing the app, so a phone restart won't lose your shift
Shifts, timesheets & swaps
- Shifts — this week's roster, exactly as a manager set it in the [shift schedule](/help/creating-shift-schedules); tap a shift for its time, role, and location
- Timesheets — a history of past clock-ins with worked hours
- Shift swaps — offer one of your shifts to the swap marketplace, or request a teammate's; both people get a push notification and the schedule updates once it's accepted
- Time off — submit a date range with a reason; it shows as Pending until a manager approves or declines
Tasks and chat
- Tasks — see what's assigned to you, tick items off, and add tasks on the go — they sync straight to the web Tasks board
- Team chat — message the whole team or a channel, post shoutouts, and leave end-of-shift handover notes so the next person is up to speed
- Earnings — staff can view their earnings and, where enabled, request an instant payout
